Location and Access

The Gifu Academy of Forest Science and Culture is located in Mino city, Gifu prefecture.

By Car

Take theTokai-Hokuriku Expressway and exit at Mino. Turn north onto the Route 156.

Turn right at the Sodai crossing and the Gifu Academy is on the left after a short tunnel.

By Bus

From Tokyo: Night highway bus is available from JR Shinjuku station bound for Gifu. Get off at ‘Chuno-chosha’ stop. 45 minutes walk to the Gifu Academy.

From Nagoya: Highway buses are available from JR Nagoya station bound for Mino. Get off at ‘Mino-Ogura-koen-mae’ stop. 15 minutes walk to the Gifu Academy.

From Gifu: Highway buses are available from JR Gifu Station bound for Gujo-hachiman. Get off at ‘Mino IC’ stop. 45 minutes walk to the Gifu Academy.

By Train

From Gifu: Take the JR Takayama Line to Mino-Ota and change to the Nagaragawa Railway train. Get off at Umeyama station. 10 minutes walk to the Gifu Academy.
